Ping Trigger

The ping trigger can be used to start a job if a device stops responding to ICMP Ping requests. The first parameter this takes is the Host Name/Address. This should be the fully qualified domain name of the device, or the IP address of the device. The next parameter is Timeout Seconds Per Ping, which defaults to 20 seconds if you do not specify one. This controls how long we should wait until before recognizing an individual ping request as a failure. The parameter Seconds Between Pings defaults to a value of 60 seconds. This controls how frequently individual ping requests are sent to the specified device. And finally, the Minutes Between Triggers parameter will throttle how often this may be re-triggered if the device continues being non-responsive. This defaults to 5 minutes but can be set all the way down to 0 if you wish it to retrigger the job over and over while the device is non-responsive.
